1. DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF THE VESSEL
1.1 HULL, ATTACHMENTS, ENGINE AND SAILS
Mast, boom and spinnaker poles Maréchal in good condition. Standing rigging regularly serviced. Running rigging in serviceable condition. Furlex genoa roller furling (1994) and Furlex staysail roller furling (2009).
Genoa and staysail in excellent condition (2009), new battened mainsail (2022), yankee 2 in serviceable condition (on running stay), Swedish mainsail and storm jib in very good condition, medium spinnaker (180 m²) and optional lightweight spinnaker (200 m²), both in excellent condition.
Deck in overall good condition, except for paint to be redone and wear in places on the trademaster; sheet tracks and return blocks in good condition. A very sturdy deck dodger was added in 1994. All plexiglass renewed in 2009. Pulpits, stanchions, and lifelines in good condition. A Barient mainsail halyard winch on the mast. A halyard winch on the mast, Barient self-tailing 32 with 3 speeds, titanium spindle. One Barient 23 self-tailing halyard winch on the mast. Two Barient 27 self-tailing spinnaker halyard winches on top of the roof. Five Barient 23 self-tailing winches forward in the cockpit. Two Barient 35 self-tailing genoa sheet winches with 3 speeds. Two Barient 32 self-tailing spinnaker sheet winches.
Wheel steering on pedestal with Lecomble & Scmitt V2H50 hydraulic assistance (1994) serviced in 2016.
The underwater hull was sandblasted and repainted in 2009. The centerboard operates easily via an electric winch (WARN U2500) with no lateral play; shims replaced in 2010. The above-water hull is in good overall condition. The boat was fitted in 2005 with a new rudder under a fixed skeg. The rudder lifts aft in case of impact and operates with a crank handle. This significantly improves boat safety.
An arch for dinghy hoisting with 4 solar panels of 100w each was installed in 2015.
Interior joinery of excellent shipyard quality in mahogany, floors in ironwood. Two stainless steel freshwater tanks (700 and 300 liters). The chart table and navigator's corner have been rebuilt to recess navigation instruments.
The engine runs perfectly. The heat exchanger, exhaust manifold, and 12-volt alternator were replaced in 2012; the 24-volt 80 amp alternator was replaced in 2001 (Leece-Neville). Starter and injection pump renewed in 2012. Hour meter shows 5260 hours. Cooling water circuit heats domestic water (Allpa boiler); an electric heating element can heat water when docked. Bronze three-blade propeller, aluminum three-blade propeller, and a 19-inch two-blade Max-prop. A 40 amp 24-volt shaft alternator. Propeller thrust is transmitted to the hull by a Centaflex coupling.
Electrical system fully overhauled in 2013 with three levels of safety. Consists of three circuits: 12 and 24 volts DC and 230 volts AC. One 12-volt engine battery and four 220 amp/h house batteries in series. Balmar Max-Charge electronic charge regulator (2003). Four polycrystalline solar panels wired parallel-series with MPPT regulator. Victron 24v-12v converter, Industrial Power Series 24-12v 20A converter, 3000w inverter, leakage tester 2016, Victron battery manager, Dolphin 24v 40 amp battery charger, Victron 3600w isolation transformer.
1.2 ARMAMENT AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT AND DINGHIES
1.2.1 Fixed equipment and safety gear
Safety equipment equivalent to French first category standards, complete for 6 persons. RFD 6-person survival raft in cocoon housing commissioned in 1996, last serviced in 2009. Four fire extinguishers. Manual bilge pump in cockpit Henderson MK V double action, engine-driven high capacity bilge pump, automatic electric diaphragm bilge pump, high capacity electric bilge pump backup (optional), sink and shower drain pumps can be used as bilge pumps. PUR Powersurvivor 80 II desalinator (not working).
DELTA Deep-set anchor 25 kgs with 40 m of 12 mm chain and 100 m of 18 mm nylon rode, a 30 kg Brittany anchor and a 9 kg aluminum Spade anchor on the stern mooring with 5 m of 12 mm chain and 100 m of 18 mm nylon rode. Goïot electric windlass.
1.2.2. Navigation instruments
Sestrel pedestal compass. Dedicated computer integrating Inmarsat C, email service via BLU, navigation, file management and television. Koden MD-3400 radar, Thrane & Thrane Inmarsat C,
